5 reasons why you need to go on a cruise

1. Unpack only once and see the world!

One of the best things about cruising is there’s no hassle when moving from destination to destination. Unpack your bags once when you enter the ship and every time you make a stop, all you need to take with you are your daily essentials. How easy is that? No more lugging around your big suitcases.

2. So much choice – enjoy it all or sit back and relax.

On board the ship you’ll be blown away with all the activities you could try. Some ships offer rock climbing, watch a show, hit the casino or just try all the different types of cuisine at the various restaurants. If activities aren’t your thing, you can just sit back and relax until you arrive at your next destination. Open up a book or your ship might even have some wellness area you could try.

3. Disconnect from your busy world.

Cruising is a different type of holiday where you’re at sea half the time. This means that you can easily disconnect from the world – or wi-fi- if you want to. Wifi isn’t as easily accessible on a cruise ship but that’s a good thing! You can use the internet when you really need it and use the rest of the time to sit back and relax.

4. Fun for the whole family

Most cruises are very family friendly. You can take the kids and they will have plenty to do. Many ships create themed nights, have waterslides or designated play spaces for children.   Larger cruise ships have group babysitting so the adults can play too. From kids’ menus, kids’ clubs and on-board medical centres, they’ve thought of everything to make it enjoyable for the whole family.

5. There’s a range of cruise options from family-friendly to luxury.

From high-end luxury cruises such as Silversea, Regent and Cunard with your own concierge to more affordable cruises such as P&O, Carnival and Royal Carribbean which are great value for the family – there’s plenty to choose from. You could try a river cruise or be surprised by an adventure cruise.

Why not roam the world on a cruise for your next holiday?
